Terms of Service
These terms govern how the group coordination service may be used, and set out the roles and responsibilities involved in running a shared trip.
The service
The service coordinates group travel - collecting preferences, building one shared itinerary, splitting costs, and adjusting the shared plan when a traveler is disrupted. It is a coordination layer; travel and payment services themselves are provided by the relevant third-party providers.
Organizers and travelers
A trip has an organizer who creates it and invites travelers. Each traveler is responsible for the accuracy of the dates, preferences and payment information they provide. The organizer is responsible for the trip details they set up on the group's behalf.
Payments and cost splitting
- Cost splits are calculated from the shared and individual costs entered for a trip. Each traveler is responsible for paying their share.
- Payment status is tracked to show who has paid and who is pending; the service facilitates this tracking and does not itself act as the payment processor.
- Amounts owed to travel and accommodation providers are governed by those providers' own terms.
Changes, disruptions and rebooking
When a disruption affects a traveler, the service proposes adjustments for the group. Proposed alternatives may depend on availability and provider terms, and any resulting fees or fare differences remain subject to those providers' conditions.
Acceptable use
The service may be used only to coordinate genuine group trips. Using it to submit false information, to disrupt other groups' trips, or in a way that interferes with the service is not permitted.
Availability
Reasonable effort is made to keep the service available and accurate. Coordination relies on third-party providers, and the service is not responsible for provider outages, price changes or availability outside its control.
Plan tiers
Some capabilities are available only on paid plans. The capabilities included in each plan are described on the pricing page, and paid plans are billed as set out there.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the service evolves. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply, and material changes affecting active trips will be communicated to the group.
